Tomilino poultry plant to become a warehouse
TPK Tomilino launches the second stage of construction of the class A warehouse terminal with the total area of 600,000 sq. metres, Business newspaper reports. About half of 120,000 sq. metres, planned for construction during the second stage, will be sold to the company’s partners including Technosila, Vimm-Bill-Dann and Multon. The rest of the areas will be leased. The total amount of investments into the project totals $100 mln.
Within several years TPK Tomilino holding, formed on the basis of ZAO Tomilinskaya Ptitsefabrika (Tomilino Poultry Plant) is planning to become one of the leaders of the Moscow region warehouse market. By 2008 the company is going to launch on its territory a full service wharehouse with the total area of 600,000 sq. metres. 25,000 sq. metres Class A warehouse is already operating on the site. Besides, the former plant’s premises are now used as Class C warehouse facilities. Total area of the warehouse complex under construction is 140 ha.
Leasing rates in the future complex are expected at $170-190 for square metre per year. Selling price will reach $1000-1300 per sq. metre. After the launch of the full complex in 2008 it is expected to get 15 per cent of the Moscow region market of warehouse facilities.
