Rewe Group and Coop (CH) cleared for joint venture
Rewe Group in Germany and the Swiss Coop have been cleared by the European Commission to set up a 50:50 joint venture in wholesale food services. The new company will be called transGourmet Holding and according to Rewe will be the second largest cash & carry food services company in Europe.
