Construction of Garden City shopping centre started in St.Petersburg

OSKO Company has started construction of the multifunctional shopping and exhibition centre Garden City in St.Petersburg Primorsky district. The complex will be located in Lakhta village and cover the territory of 6,5 ha. It will include two-storied shopping centre of 47,000 sq. meters, a park and a parking lot. The project also includes reconstruction of historical water tower built in 1902, located on the territory of the complex.

Among future anchor tenants of the complex are DIY hypermarket, food supermarket, household appliances hypermarket. On the second floor of the building children’s centre will be located. The park zone will cover 10,000 sq. meters and will include an exhibition of country home-building, a garden centre, artificial ponds, fountains and demonstration landscapes.

Opening of the complex is scheduled for the second quarter of 2006.
