Best Buy expects sales to lift in the run in to Christmas

Best Buy has said that despite a slowdown in sales momentum after the Black Friday weekend, it expects business to crescendo again in the final days before Christmas. Best Buy President Brian Dunn said: "We were pleased with the traffic we saw. Black Friday weekend is a peak and the next peaks are the eight or nine days before Christmas." Dunn said that customers are "spending money again" and are getting back into the "ritual of shopping for the holidays". Dunn suggested that gaming systems, smart phones and notebook computers will be the hot products this Christmas.
