Circuit City gets ok to end leases

In the US, Circuit City has received approval from a bankruptcy judge to auction leases or break them for its remaining properties, including 567 US stores, its corporate headquarters and various distribution centres. The company’s going-out-of-business sales are expected to last until the end of March, when the stores will be permanently closed.
