Wal-Mart hires over 150 retail executives in India

Wal-Mart has hired over 150 retail executives to work at its first store in Amritsar, the Indian press reported. “We have hired over 150 people to work at our Best Price Modern Wholesale store. We will continue to create jobs and employment as our operations grow,” said Arti Singh, Wal-Mart spokesperson. “Around 100 people came on board during the last four months,” said an unnamed official close to Wal-Mart. The first store is expected to open by the end of May.
