Tesco employees to share holiday rewards

UK retailer Tesco is rewarding its employees with a GBP25 million (USD45 million) package of discounts on the retailer’s products. The package will be split amongst all 268,000 staff, and each employee will also receive a day's paid leave as a reward. Tesco UK benefits manager Louise Pocock said: "We are very aware that this Christmas and next year will be one of the tightest times for finances, and for this reason, Tesco is committed to offering savings and discounts to staff throughout the year."
