Starbucks to open roadside outlets in Russia

Global coffee chain Starbucks plans to introduce a new store format in Russia by the end of 2012. The company is looking to open small roadside cafés for motorists through its Seattle’s Best Coffee banner - for which it has the rights to develop in the country - Commercial Real Estate reports. The outlets will sell a variety of coffee, tea, pretzels, biscuits, cakes and sandwiches.
