According to Starbucks Deputy President of EMEA Operations, Rossann Williams, the company intends to further expand in Russia during the present year, starting with the opening of a new outlet in St Petersburg. "We currently have 11 stores in Moscow and they are doing very well," said Williams. In addition, Starbucks is looking to enter Ukraine by targeting locations in centres of main cities. In contrast to its domestic market of the US, Starbucks continues with plans to develop the chain in Central and Eastern Europe. It recently opened its first coffee shop in Poland.
