Sainsbury's to appoint new Chairman

Sainsbury's is set to appoint former GUS Finance Director David Tyler as its new Chairman to replace Sir Philip Hampton. Tyler was Finance Director at GUS from 1997-2006, where he ran Argos, Homebase, Experian and Burberry. Hampton wants to focus on his other role as Chairman of Royal Bank of Scotland.
