Real appoints Didier Fleury as new CEO

Metro Group-owned hypermarket chain Real has appointed Didier Fleury as new CEO for its domestic and international business, Lebensmittel Zeitung reports. Fleury previously worked as COO for Real. The former Banner Director for Real Germany, Roland Neuwald, remains with the company as Sales Director, replacing Bernd Mediger who will be in charge of the Real properties. Andreas Sauer, Buying Director Food, is reportedly leaving the company. Metro Group declined to comment.
