FAS wants to make total enquiries amid Russian retailers

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) wants to make total enquiries amid Russian retailers in order to reveal how they observance new Trade Law. So far retailers still haven’t been working according to a new Law and even have made conditions for suppliers tougher.

FAS are going to start these enquiries since April 2010.

New Trade Law has forbidden for retailers to take from suppliers any payments except bonus for volume of deliveries. The law establishes the 10% discount restriction for wholesale food goods purchases. And the rate of commission, paid to the wholesale buyer, cannot be more than 10 % of the delivery contract price. Retailers have to make new agreements with suppliers (with those who have agreements made till February, 1st, 2010) in conformity with the new law within 180 days after its coming into force.
