X5 Retail Group purchases Karusel Finance bonds

Russia-based X5 Retail Group has fully purchased virtually all of the first series of bonds issued by Karusel Finance LLC, totalling RUB3 billion (USD96 million). Karusel Finance is a special purpose vehicle set up by the Karusel chain of hypermarkets, which X5 acquired in 2008.
