Pharmacy Chain 36.6 reports H1 sales drop

Russia-based Pharmacy Chain 36.6 reported preliminary consolidated sales dropped 13.1% for the first half of the year on the same period a year earlier to RUB11.63 billion (USD373.26 million). The company’s retail sales decreased 17.4% on the year to RUB8.8 billion (USD282.43 million). Sales in its pharmaceuticals production division, Verpharm, decreased 18.6% on the year to RUB2.46 billion (USD78.95 million). At the end of June the company had 1,036 pharmacies in 29 Russian regions. It opened six pharmacies and closed 54 pharmacies during the April-June period.
