Carrefour launches mobile phone plan in Russia

Carrefour is launching a mobile phone plan with Russian mobile operator Megafon called ‘Special. Especially for Carrefour’, aimed at Carrefour customers. With this tariff, users can make calls to other Carrefour tariff users for RUB1 (USD0.28). Calls made from a ‘Carrefour zone’, inside the hypermarket to MegaFon-Moscow mobile numbers, to other mobile networks in Moscow and to fixed numbers in the Moscow region are charged between RUB3-5 (USD0.08-0.14) per minute.
