Auchan has Russian green light for Real acquisition

French retailer Auchan has received the approval of the Russian competition authority to acquire Metro Group's Real hypermarkets in the country, Finmarket reports. However, the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service noted that Auchan will have to divest the Real Hypermarket located in Kotelniki - south-east of Moscow - given the retailer's dominant market share in the area.
