Tesco to add 100 lines to Discount Brands range

UK retailer Tesco is to add an additional 100 products to its Discount Brands range. According to Tesco UK Marketing Director Carolyn Bradley, new lines include childrenswear called Molly and Jack as well as skincare products. She added that one in four shoppers were now buying an item from the range, as they looked to cut their weekly food bill. In defence of recent criticism, Bradley said the range gave shoppers on a tight budget more choice and was not confusing customers.
