X5 wants to be a Perfumer

X5 Retail Group (retail chains Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Karusel) have concluded the partnership agreement with Swiss perfume retail chain PerfumesPlanetSwitzerland (PPS). According to this agreement X5 will put into their shops special trade zones (15-30 sq. m.) for products of PPS sale. The collaboration there will be in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhni Novgorod only. Share of X5 in this enterprise – 20%, PPS – 80%. According to this agreement PPS is going to provide own “know-how” in perfume business and will finance this project within 3 years.
