Pharmacy Chain 36.6 to source directly from producers

Russian Pharmacy Chain 36.6 hopes to increase the share of goods it sources directly from producers to 30% by the end of the year. Currently it accounts for 22%. The retailer’s relationship with Protek, the largest pharmaceuticals distributor in Russia, ended in the second half of 2008 as 36.6 was not able to pay for deliveries. In April this year, 36.6 terminated its contract with Alliance Boots, which supplied brands such as Toni & Guy, Mediterranean, Time Dimensions and The Sanctuary due to the high price of imported products.
