Auchan to acquire O'key (Ukraine) hypermarkets?

Le Blog Mulliez has reported that Auchan is in the process of finalising the acquisition of four hypermarkets currently operated by O'key in the Ukraine. The four stores are large outlets located in shopping centres. O'key had been struggling with financial difficulties for some time and in July, Wojciech Gwardys, Managing Director of O'key Ukraine (formerly working for Carrefour Poland) left the group. The stores concerned are located in Kiev, Krivoï Rog, Zaporojie and Simferopol. The terms of the agreement have not yet been finalised.
