Best Buy announces management changes

US-based consumer electronics retailer Best Buy has announced that Scott Wheway has been named Chief Operating Officer of Best Buy International. The former Boots the Chemists Managing Director will play a key role in launching the retailer in Europe. The company also announced the promotion of Neville Roberts as Enterprise Chief Information Officer. Neville Roberts takes over as CIO of the company, replacing Bob Willett, Chief Executive of Best Buy International who also held the office of CIO since 2004.
