Tesco claims to have cut prices across its store network significantly, which it says will save customers an estimated GBP250 million (USD408.1 million) over the festive period. Deals at Tesco include a GBP6 (USD9.79) Turkey along with a number of offers across the company’s frozen food range. UK Marketing Director Carolyn Bradley said: "We know that our customers are looking for great value this Christmas and that is what we are giving them with more offers than ever before." Asda meanwhile claimed it would offer GBP150 million (USD244.86 million) of price cuts over the Christmas period.
